What We Believe...

We, at Rosebud Christian Church, trust the Bible to be God's Word
and that God loves us all "But God demonstrates his own love for
us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8).
In the Bible there are seven basic facts concerning the life of all men and women.
Below are those seven basic facts for you to read and study.
If you have any questions, please contact the Church.

  • Man has sinned - Romans 3:23 “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
  • Man deserves death - Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death,
but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
  • Jesus’ death was our death - I Peter 2:24 “He himself bore our sins in his
body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for
righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.”.
  • We must change our ways - Luke 13:3 “I tell you, no!
But unless you repent, you too will all perish.”
Acts 3:19 “Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be
wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.”
  • We must confess our sins - James 5:16 “Therefore confess your sins to each other
and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous
man is powerful and effective.” I John 1:9 “If we confess our sins,
he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”
  • We must be baptized - Acts 2:38 “Peter replied, ‘Repent and be baptized,
every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ
for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the
gift of the Holy Spirit.” Acts 22:16 “And now what are you waiting for?
Get up, be baptized and wash your sins away,
calling on his name.” I Peter 3:21 “and this water
symbolizes baptism that now saves you also - not the removal of dirt from
the body but the pledge of a good conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
  • We must be a disciple of Jesus - Matthew 28:18-20 “Then Jesus came to them
and said, ‘All authority in heaven and earth has been given to me. Therefore go
and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name
of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching
them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always,
to the very end of the age. I Peter 2:2 “Like newborn babies,
crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation.”

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,
that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world,
but to save the world through him.”

-John 3:16-17
